Thomson Reuters Expands Partnership with Oracle with Turnkey Embedded E-Invoicing Capabilities
This integration aims to help streamline e-invoicing processes, particularly in countries with stringent mandates.
Nov. 15, 2024
Thomson Reuters Corporation, a global content and technology company and member of Oracle PartnerNetwork, is enabling turnkey integration with ONESOURCE Pagero and Oracle Cloud Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP). Designed to transform the e-invoicing landscape, and supported by early partners like Accenture, this integration aims to help streamline e-invoicing processes, particularly in countries with stringent mandates.
For multinational organizations, e-invoicing is already mandatory or becoming so in jurisdictions across Europe, Latin America, and parts of Asia. U.S. companies that implement e-invoicing now will be better positioned for cross-border trade, reducing the likelihood of costly penalties from doing business with international partners already following e-invoicing mandates. This collaboration aims to deliver enhanced value to customers, allowing for compliance while improving operational efficiency.
“As part of Thomson Reuters ongoing build, partner and buy strategy, we are excited to deepen our partnership with Oracle, bringing our market-leading e-invoicing capabilities directly to Oracle Cloud ERP,” said Laura Clayton McDonnell, president, Corporates, Thomson Reuters. “This collaboration with Oracle is also supported by partners like Accenture and underscores our commitment to providing seamless, innovative solutions that drive compliance and efficiency for our global customers. This marks another step forward in making end-to-end tax solutions a reality for customers.”

This partnership will leverage Oracle’s B2B technology platform to offer a solution that simplifies the integration of e-invoicing compliance solutions. By integrating ONESOURCE Pagero with Oracle Cloud ERP, customers will be able to perform critical invoicing compliance workflows directly within the ERP system. This integration will not only help to reduce complexity but will also help address data integrity and compliance, transforming the customer experience from an extensive implementation process to a simple sequence of actions.
“For multinational organizations, the ability to streamline invoice management processes is critical to addressing compliance, improving visibility into cash flow, and fostering positive supplier relations. With ONESOURCE Pagero integrated with Oracle Cloud ERP, joint customers will gain e-invoicing automation that will help to enhance operational efficiency and improve user experience,” said Mark Hura, executive vice president and general manager, North America Cloud Infrastructure, Oracle.
“As organizations look for new ways to address evolving global invoicing mandates, this integration will help streamline business operations and reduce the cost to comply,” said Samia Tarraf, Oracle Business Group lead, Accenture. “The partnership with Thomson Reuters complements the work Accenture and Oracle already do to help our clients reinvent their digital core.”
Pagero was recently named a Leader in the 2024 IDC MarketScape: European Compliant e-Invoicing Vendor Assessment. This recognition underscores Pagero’s position as a trusted partner for companies seeking comprehensive, compliant, and innovative e-invoicing solutions. This expanded partnership marks a significant step forward in the e-invoicing space, promising substantial benefits for customers by combining the strengths of Thomson Reuters and Oracle.
